Community Forums: DAK41

Alright guys, as you've noticed, the old site is no more. We're getting a fresh new site coming soon, but we need your input! What do you guys want to see on the site? We want to make this the best community we can, so lets get some ideas! This includes structural things, such as subforums and things like that!

So, after God only knows how long, we officially have several new members to the DAK41 family, in the form of the new Modern Warfare 2 DAK41 squad. This is new territory for the clan, and hopefully it will be a success. Id like to introduce Poet Of and Quicky Scope, with a few potentials on the backburner right now....Ill let them tell more about themselves later, but suffice to say that we're on our way to building a GREAT team for MW2 on 360. We absolutely ripped it up tonight, with only a partial team working together. My hope is to get a truly cross platform clan/gaming community!

Things will go a little different with the 360 portion of things than they do with DoD. Its a completely different set up, its easier to get to know people, theyre gaming styles, personalities, etc. Instead of giving people recruit status, they will be full members as soon as we get to know them, and decide how well they will mesh with our existing team. If after awhile, ones feel its just not working out, or someone is causing problems, making unnecessary tension, etc, a vote will be taken among the console/game specific squad, and punishment will be dealt accordingly. For now, Poet Of will be acting as the main recruiting officer for the XB360 end of things, while I will have final say as to who is allowed in the squad.

I truly think this is a good direction for us to go in, and hope it works out. If anyone has friends or family who play MW2 on 360, try to get them to join, even if you dont play on that console! Hopefully Monkey will get his act together and get his wireless network adapter and will join us.

Anyway, Id like to hear what others think of all this, where we can go from here, etc. I think between MW2 and people focusing on DoD:Source, we have a good foundation to build upon.
